Hello everybody, I am a spammer....you probably know that by now since I post stuff like this > In Aug 2016, I install a solar panel at my home, and now I want to know what are the best ways to checked the quality of my solar panel. I didn't want to replace it. Suggest me what can I do?

Need a Pro to check it REALLY? ? I am really surprised to see the solar Installation companys posting here. DIY Solar Energy Form must be biting their wallets Great to see a New Member on-line. Slowly but surely the old timers and advanced users are making their way back to the form. I started out on the old site. Take a look at the backside of the panel get the model an make then check the manufactures site. Silicon to me is just Processed Sand. But the Makers site and other users Old Timers Dale,Ray and others will help ID it. But in General a new panel Grade A or B should last a good 20 years. Harbor Fright Panels are warrantied for 90-days on the Kits. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. Northern tools their kit I think is 5 years. If the Manufacture specs say 5 or two years workmanship and 25 fo function I think. Everyone here started as a rookie. Get a multimeter HF sells them and with a coupon they can be free, go to youtube and look for checking power on solar panels amps an voltage. This shoul match the specs. I know you just put one panel up. I hate to say it but everyone here started by just putting one HF Kit or panel up. Plan for expansion. ( You Will ) I hope I can help. Beware of companies that come at you saying you cant do this. You Can. You are going to toast multimeter's doing it. Thank god they almost give them away. Respect the fact as you expand Safety, Breakers and fuses. I will try to post some pictures today,

The Photo of the Monkey is from my beginning days in solar. I am using the Icon/Avitar so as others who were on the old DIYSOLAR group might spot it and Thats the expression to me reminds me how I felt when I fried my first non Fry-able 20 dollar LED light. Muliti meters and had a Ceiling fan Ignite. I am Color Blind an I pay for it in this hobby.
