I am looking for an MPPT controller which will interface 2 12v agm batteries with one or two 24v 175 w suntek (v=42v) panels. I see some controllers advertised as mppt but with pwm charging. Is that good, bad, worse or new and super? Thank you.

mppt but with pwm
I dont know what you have going on but the PWM are way less expensive and keeping a bench spare isnt a bad Idea.
I dont use the MPPT not that they are not good. I just can not part with the cash.
If you haven't bought the Battery's yet. I do Recommend golf cart batterys. I just believe they are a better bang per buck
Hope the project is going good

sldl,
Why not keep your questions in a single thread? It will help me understand what kind of a system you are building. I have not seen yet what you plan on powering up, 12V LED lights, 24 volt electric boat motor, 120VAC television, etc.

Shorter questions, more threads and shorter threads are much more effective. Long time members know to just include links to their other discussions. Thanks, RR
