OK. I'm a newbie.. I have a small off grid cabin. Used very little, in upstate NY. It is not used in the winter. I have now , 4 - 170 watt ,10 amp panels, 18 volt. I plan on putting in Series, to gain 72 volts, @ 10 amps. Feeding a Epever 60 amp. Mppt controller, ( 750 watts max input @ 12 volts) . A samlex 2212 evo TSW inverter, powered by 2 SLA 100 AH batteries in Series .
Sound OK ? so far ? Only concern is winter time, Volts could increase beyond controller spec. And, I could shut down system, (controller and inverter) and bring batteries home.
